Something that really gives me a buzz while editing photos is seeing the “before and after” of each image. I just love it. It’s like when Oprah revealed the awesome make-overs they achieved on people who were just ordinary – they looked so different afterward.
Here is an example of what I’m working on at the moment. I use Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop and a couple of actions that I tweak as I go. The thing that stood out here was the blue/cool temperature of the first photo, which I made warmer. The great thing about taking photos of kids is that their skin is almost flawless, so there’s no real need to adjust anything there.
